About Coastal Recovery
"Recovery" in the treatment field is an unusual word, and it may have different meanings to different people. At Coastal Recovery, we think that's the word that best describes what we do here: we help people "recover" (or get well) from the disease of addiction that's at the root of the problems they're dealing with.
There's another meaning of the word "recover" that's just as important, for us and for the people we help. As a result of treating their addiction, our patients can "recover" (or get back) their potential, their friends, their families and their lives.
That's the objective of everything we do in our program: help individuals get physically, emotionally and spiritually better, so they can put their life back on the right track.
The way we do this is unique in the recovery field, too. Many treatment centers have one way of doing things, one program to offer, and a "one size fits all" approach. Those programs may help a lot of people, but we have a philosophical difference with those places.
We understand that, by the time they've found us, every alcoholic/addict got that way through a unique set of experiences and circumstances. There may be many similarities among people with addictions, but you'll find that we work very hard to make our programs fit your needs, and we'll respect your individuality throughout the treatment process.
